Marriage on Mission

What if the goal of marriage was never just a happy home… but an eternal mission?

In this full teaching and Q&A session, Francis and Lisa Chan challenge the way many Christians think about marriage, parenting, and the purpose of family. They invite us to shift our focus from a “comfortable life” mindset to a Kingdom-first mindset, where God’s glory, eternity, and disciple-making shape everything.

Francis opens by asking why so many messages about marriage focus almost entirely on promises and personal fulfillment, while Scripture repeatedly calls believers to live with urgency, sacrifice, and undivided devotion to the Lord (1 Corinthians 7). Together, Francis and Lisa share stories from their own marriage and family life: downsizing, giving sacrificially, fostering, moving in faith, and learning to pursue God’s mission together.

In the second half, the conversation shifts into a powerful Q&A, where Francis and Lisa respond to real questions and issues couples and parents are facing, including:
